The restaurant overlooks the sea, and serves various dishes inspired by traditional local Zanzibari cuisine which combines influences of Arabic, Indian and African flavours.
Dining takes places in the former lighthouse keeper's home which has been restored and remodelled into a giant-clam-shaped visitors’ centre and restaurant bungalow.
Dinner can also be taken outside on tables set up in the sand or by candlelight on the beach.
Guests are offered typical Zanzibarian cuisine, a delicious blend of Asian, Arabic, African and European traditions, made from local produce to minimise waste, packaging, processing, pollution and food miles, transported in locally made, biodegradable baskets.
This also helps raise awareness and pride in the local culture.

The whole of Chumbe Island is a nature reserve and you may explore its beauty either under the competent guidance of our experienced rangers or at your leisure.
All guided activities are included in your stay and scheduled daily, according to the prevalent tides to ensure snorkelling is conducted when tide conditions are optimal.
Snorkel through our unique shallow water Coral Reef Sanctuary, join guided nature walks and gaze at historical monuments.
Or just allow yourself a lazy day watching dhows and outrigger boats going by.

Designed to be a comfortable open ocean cruising yacht the 56’ Marquise is still the ideal charter catamaran. Make no mistake, the Marquise 56' is a big catamaran with one of the largest living areas of any yacht in its class.
Her bright & open saloon offers generous space and with a dining table that can sit 8 guests is a perfect place to entertain! There is a flat screen TV/ DVD, and music system, with speakers throughout. A new fully equipped galley offers everything a chef would need and with 3 fridge freezers there is plenty of space for keeping your drinks cold. There are 4 separate air conditioned ensuite double guest cabins, finished off in beautiful oak wood with white trim.
